Even Nice Girls Have Needs.
Erin starts using matchmaker Luxxor Limited, not realizing that the company is truly an escort service. She meets a series of hunky men, but the dates are disappointing. She wants a man that will awaken her senses, challenge her thoughts, and rev up her body. But she gets more than she bargained for when Luxxor sets her up with another client, lawyer Colton King. Her big brother’s best friend.
Erin has always lusted for Colt. Dark, muscled, and brooding, he was her first teenage crush. Now he’s her favourite fevered fantasy. He’s just never taken notice of her before. She has his attention now.
Colton is horrified when he learns the scandalous game Erin has been playing with Luxxor’s escorts. He orders her to stop, but things go a bit too far … and become a bit too sexy … Soon Colt is escorting Erin straight to his bed.
Years ago, her family forbade him to touch her. How will he defend himself when they learn how impure his thoughts are for their innocent, loving daughter? The one who’s grown up into the sweetest, naughtiest, little temptress.

‘Colt –’

She didn’t get his whole name out, because his mouth was suddenly covering hers in a kiss so hot, she worried her shoes would melt.

He caught her wrists and pressed them flat against the wall on either side of her head, and arousal gushed inside her. Slick and viscous, it filled her veins, making her muscles tense and relax at the same time.

It had been good when she’d kissed him before. Fantastic.

This was the first time he’d taken the lead, and the sensuality was insane.

He tore his mouth away from hers. His chest was rising and falling in jagged movements. ‘You have to stop this,’ he said hoarsely. ‘You have to stop teasing me. Stop tempting me.’

‘No, I don’t.’ Her breaths were coming hard, too, and she ran her tongue over her lips. ‘Give in.’

‘Erin.’ His voice was sharp, like when he went after someone on the stand.

She arched sexily. She wanted him to come after her.

‘I have,’ she whispered.

His eyes flashed to nearly the colour of midnight. His fingers bit into her wrists, and Erin revelled in it. A sound left the back of his throat, and his mouth came down hard on hers again. Their lips sealed tight, and his tongue laved hers.

‘Mmm,’ she hummed when her need cranked up a notch.

He had her trapped, held down, but she arched her back to rub against his body. His weight pressed against her as he leaned in, his chest hard against her breasts, plumping them and making her nipples pinch.

The kiss went on and on. It had been years in the making.

‘Take me upstairs,’ she whispered when they were forced to come up for air. ‘To my old bedroom.’

His curse echoed in her ear. ‘Do you really want my head on a platter?’

She didn’t understand. She wanted his body on a bed. Or the floor. Or right here.

His mouth ran down the side of her neck, and his teeth closed around the muscle that led to her shoulder. She let out a moan and twisted into him. The sound echoed down the hallway, but he cut it off with another blistering kiss.

Erin strained against her constraints. She couldn’t touch him, couldn’t hold him. It was hot as hell, but so frustrating.

‘Let me touch you.’

‘Not going to happen.’

Yet he didn’t stop kissing her. Or rubbing intently against her breasts.

But he deliberately kept his hips away. She could feel his hardness barely brushing against her belly. She wanted more. She needed to feel his hot, muscled body against hers.

She did the only thing she could; she climbed him like a tree.

Swinging a leg high around his waist, she hitched herself up. His hips swung forward, almost as if they had no other option. She took advantage of the opportunity. Knowing he wouldn’t drop her, she hopped up and wrapped both thighs around his waist.

When she settled down, his erection was right where she needed it the most. Big, hard and hot. They both shuddered when she ground against him.

‘God! Sunny, I can’t do this. Not here.’

‘Then where?’

‘No.’ He shook his head as if to clear it. ‘That’s not what I meant.’

Erin had never felt a desire so intense or a need so strong. She had to be with him. She needed to feel him inside her. It was the only thing that would douse the heat in her core. She was ready to burst into flames at the smallest spark.

She rolled her hips almost frantically. This was no dry hump this time. Just a few more strokes, and she would be ready to come. He pumped up to meet her, and she let out a whimper of need.

‘Erin?’ They both froze when her mother’s voice came down the hallway.

Colton tore his mouth away from hers, and his muscles went taut.

‘Yes?’ Erin called, her voice squeaky.

‘Could you bring me a cup of tea, dear?’

Erin swallowed hard, but her voice still came out all wrong. ‘Sure, mom. Just . . . ohhhh . . . just give me a moment.’

Promo: Bridged by Love

Hi everyone! Today, I have the first book in a werewolf series! Keep on reading for an excerpt below.

Title: Bridged by Love
Series: Kagan Wolves, #1
Author: Nancy Corrigan
Publisher: Samhain
Release Date: July 21, 2015
Pages: 207
Buy Links: Amazon | BN | Google Play | Kobo | iBooks

Blurb:

Follow his head, he breaks her heart. Follow his heart…he breaks his pack.

From the moment he was born, Nic Kagan’s future was sealed. He’ll accept a mate, have kids, and eventually take over his father’s role as pack alpha. There’s just one problem.

Long ago, his heart settled on Riley, the pack’s human doctor and honorary member. Except only half of him can have her. The other half—his wolf—won’t give a weak non-shifter female a second sniff.

No one—human or shifter—has left a mark on Riley’s soul like Nic. But with his father hospitalized, any hope things could work out between them is slipping away. Yet Riley understands something else about pack life. Power isn’t always a physical gift; love is just as strong. What she and Nic have is worth fighting for.

With rival threats mounting, Nic realizes he can’t simply turn his back on Riley. Though his wolf could tear his heart out for it, he must fight for what he wants before he loses his mate. His pack. Maybe even his sanity.

Warning: Contains a reluctant alpha with only one roadblock between his heart and the woman he loves—biology. And a woman who isn’t giving up on him, even if it means risking her life to fool Mother Nature.

Nic ran through the woods. The broken twigs and rocks poking into his paws barely registered. He pivoted and headed deeper into the underbrush. The sharp pulling of the low-hanging tree limbs on his fur appealed to his need to punish himself. He wanted to hurt. A fight would’ve been better, but he couldn’t go around initiating any. Actions like that would come off as a dominance tactic, and the Kagan males had always held to a higher standard. They understood all members of a pack played a vital role.

He lowered his head and pushed through the bowing evergreens. An open space greeted him. He froze. Sides heaving and blood soaking his fur, he panted and took in the small home in front of him—Riley’s place. His dad had bought it for her. Last time Nic had seen it was right after she’d moved in. She must’ve remodeled since then. Where the concrete stoop once stood, a wide front porch spanned the house. It looked inviting with the swing and chairs decorating it. He could see himself lounging on it, enjoying the night.

A low growl rumbled in his chest.

It didn’t surprise him that he’d ended up here. He hadn’t been able to get thoughts of her out of his head. Guilt ate at him. He’d treated her like shit the last time they were together. She deserved an apology and explanation. If he’d been man enough, he would’ve been straight with her then.

He padded across the gravel road. On the other side, soft grass met the pads of his paws. Halfway across the front yard, the door opened. Riley stepped out, a bottle of beer in hand. An oversize flannel shirt covered her chest and bare thighs. Jealousy surged, knowing she wore another male’s clothes. Shock replaced it with his next breath. It was his shirt, the one he’d had on the last time they were together. She whipped her head in his direction. Narrowed eyes zeroed in on him. They widened on a gasp. She set her bottle down and sprinted across the yard. Her loosely buttoned top gave him a tantalizing glimpse of her legs. He sat on his haunches to watch her, but she reached him before he could decide if the swath of black between her thighs was a thong or a bikini.

“Nic”—she dropped to her knees in front of him—“what happened?”

He couldn’t answer her in his wolf form. She knew that. She also understood that depending on how much control he gave his other half, he might not even hear her. It never stopped her from approaching shifters. She’d said she could tell who was in charge by looking into their eyes.

“You’re bleeding.” She brushed back his fur and gently touched the skin around a long gash. “This wasn’t from a fight, was it?” He shook his head, the only answer he could give in his limited form.

She stared into his eyes. Not a hint of fear showed in her expression. She treated his dad and the other dominants with the respect owed them by avoiding eye contact. Never Nic, at least not in private, but the rules were different around the other wolves. Riley had always understood the need for hierarchy among the members. In the pack’s eyes, she was as low as one could be. In his, she was his equal. “Shift and tell me why you decided to drag your sorry ass to my house. None of these cuts need my attention.”

A little about Nancy…

A true romantic at heart, Nancy Corrigan is convinced there’s a knight in shining armor for every woman (or man), but you won’t find damsels in distress in her stories. She adores pairing alpha heroes with women strong enough to match them and bring them to their knees. She also enjoys flipping the traditional roles in romances because her motto is—love and people should never be forced to conform to anyone’s norm.

She holds a degree in chemistry and has worked in research but now focuses on ensuring quality. She considers it the perfect outlet for her as she’s the first to admit she has some OCD tendencies. It carries over into her writing life too. While engrossed in a novel, she has a habit of forgetting to eat and sleep. Fortunately, she’s married to her own knight in shining armor who understands her oddities and loves her anyway. They reside in Pennsylvania with their three children, dog, snake and guinea pigs. Her other interests include tattoos, animals, classic cars and all things spooky and sexy.

Promo: Heated Competition

Today, we have a debut erotic romance! Hope you'll check it out!

Title: Heated Competition
Author: Caroline Bradley
Publisher: Maritona Press
Release Date: June 23, 2015
Pages: 170
Buy Link: Amazon

Blurb:

Phys Ed teacher Lindsey Kincaid has spent two years running her ass off to rebuild the life her ex ruined. She depends on her coaching stipend from the cross-country team, and when colleague Gabe Shraeder sets his sights on taking over her team, she can’t back down. Why is the son of one of the richest families in three counties a high school teacher, anyway? Is slumming it the latest trend in noblesse oblige? But the varsity soccer coach is hotter than the track in July, and a harmless beer bet lands her in Gabe’s arms.

Lindsey would prefer if their casual spring break hook-up meant nothing, but Gabe turns out to be anything but casual. His touch reminds of things she misses like intimacy, pleasure, and companionship. With him, she’s not alone anymore; she doesn’t have to fight. But Gabe has secrets of his own.

Is Gabe trying to help her, or does he want to take over her team and her life? She’s done things she regretted to keep the home and the dream she still clings to. What in Gabe’s past will shape Lindsey’s future? In this Heated Competition, can either of them win?

“You’ve got a great ass,” I heard from behind me.

I didn’t really hear that, did I? When my senses came back I said, “Good. You keep watching it.”

“Thanks. I think I will. For a little while.”

As if my legs needed to get any more wobbly? Just great. I shoved the thought aside, tuned into some Eminem in my head and poured it on, fighting my way up to the top of the hill. Even as my leg muscles burned, I felt a new energy rush through me. I smiled as I leapt across the driveway. Mark was such a fool to have walked out on someone as awesome as I was.

“Hey Ace,” Shraeder called out from behind me, not far enough for my comfort just yet.

Hmm, I had a nickname. Or was he calling me Ass? The wind rushing past my face made it hard to hear. I didn’t look back but my blood heated a little. “What?” I snapped.

Out of nowhere he shot past me, then turned, running backward for a moment before he stopped altogether. I didn’t have time to react before his hands were at my waist, slowing my inevitable crash into him. Because we were going uphill, I wasn’t as fast as I might have been when we were headed downhill. The break in my momentum pissed me off and I wished we had been going downhill so I could’ve knocked him over. Before I could yell at him, his mouth was on mine, kissing me out of what little breath I had left.

Promo: Runaway

Hi everyone! Today is a new romantic suspense by JB Schroeder. I hope you'll check it out!

Title: Runaway
Series: Retrieval Inc., #1
Author: JB Schroeder
Self-Published
Release Date: June 14, 2015
Pages: 336
Buy Link: Amazon

Blurb:

Sixteen-year-old Laura Macnamara walked out her backdoor and disappeared without a trace. Six years later, while looking for his missing teenage sister, Detective Mitch Saunders uncovers a disturbing link between the two cases. His search leads straight to Laura—all grown up and posing as Charlie Hart.

Despite their instant attraction and the ever-present danger to his sister, Charlie refuses to help him. Still terrified and guarding secrets, she cannot afford to face the past. Yet Mitch will stop at nothing to bring his sister home—and that includes exposing Charlie to a truly sinister evil. If she can’t stay hidden, she must run—again.

The clank and bang of trays, ladles, cups, and utensils soothed Charlie the instant she slid in the back door of the kitchens. Somehow all that noise had come to symbolize a home away from home for her. Maybe, just maybe, that same sense of comfort that she always felt at Glide and St. Anthony’s would have drawn Tiffany back tonight as well.

Charlie greeted everybody on staff as she weaved through the chaos, but didn’t stop to talk. She stepped through the line of guests, already scanning the tables. Then she headed down a middle aisle, checking every table, but her attention was yanked to a man who’d just come in the main door. He wasn’t facing her, engaged as he was in conversation with the aide posted there, but her breath caught anyway—

because he didn’t belong here.

He stood tall and straight and was fit and clean. One glance told her he was both confident and determined. He hadn’t shaved recently, but usually did, she guessed. Good-looking, too, but in a rugged way. In another life, she thought as an aside, you’d have been my type.

Sandy brown hair—too long, for a gust of wind blew through the door and pushed it into his face. He swiped it back with a large hand. In the other, he flashed a photograph. The aide, Aaron, a good guy who helped out when he was able, shook his head.

A cop, then. Looking for someone.

Out of long habit, she tensed, ready to flee—but Aaron was pointing at her already, and the intruder’s eyes locked with her own.

Charlie felt her stomach drop out and her whole world tilt precariously. Cops were to be avoided; they asked too many questions and might look too close. She willed her legs to move, to turn, to run, but she was frozen in place. There were too many people watching. And she wasn’t ready this time. She’d been caught off guard.

Don’t panic. Think, think! She ran a hand over her hair—short, tousled, blond. Had she remembered her contacts? Yes, her eyes were blue. No choice, she’d have to play it cool. She was Charlie Hart. She was Charlie Hart…

“Cleverly written, with a creep factor turned up to eleven, RUNAWAY is unlike anything I’ve ever read. You will fall in love with Mitch and Charlie in this twisted tale of facing down your worst fears. This book is not to be missed!”
—Award-winning author Joanna Shupe

“Gritty plotline, heart-pounding suspense, emotional romance . . . RUNAWAY will make you believe in evil . . . and in love.”
—Award-winning author AJ Scudiere

Review: Hard to Let Go

Title: Hard to Let Go
Series: Hard Ink, #4
Author: Laura Kaye
Publisher: Avon
Release Date: June 30, 2015
Pages: 384
Buy Link: Amazon

Blurb:

Five dishonored soldiers.
Former Special Forces.
One last mission.
These are the men of Hard Ink.

Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet--a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.

A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers' Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up--and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger's gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he's also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat's brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett's sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies' crosshairs.

Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.

Humorous, touching, and all-around amazing! Hard to Let Go is the last and best book of the series!

I have waited for this book and when it was time for me to read it, I could not put it down. I devoured this book like a child would devour a cake. Roller coaster emotions provided for such an amazing book.

Beckett had scars that went beyond the physical. He was hard and tough, except around Kat. The two met when Beckett trained a gun to Kat in one of the previous books. My favorite nickname for Beckett was Trigger.

What I enjoyed even more was the Chapter 3 surprise. Beckett and Kat didn't mess around. I supposed it was because they met under different circumstances than the other couples in this series. There was no room to build up an attraction because they already lived under the same roof. The chemistry exploded instantly as a result. Oh yeah :)
I loved the way Beckett's character was written. One of his favorite phrase was "for fuck's sake." I thought it was funny whenever he thought of it. I also was able to clearly visualize his mannerisms such as when he would rub his chest because there were foreign emotions that plagued him, especially towards the second half of the book.

The roller coaster took a nose dive during a funeral. I was literally crying with the characters when all hell broke loose. The bond of all the characters was something I wished to have one day as well.

Overall, if you want something very relatable and would keep you at the edge of your seat, this book was written just for you. You wouldn't want to put it down! I've not read such a riveting story lately until I've read this one.

I saw the meme below on Facebook, and never had it been so true for me, until now.

Please do yourself a favor and read this entire series. Check out my reviews of the other books below.

Review: Blame it on the Kiss

Title: Blame it on the Kiss
Series: Kisses in the Sand, #2
Author: Robin Bielman
Publisher: Entangled: Bliss
Release Date: June 9, 2015
Pages: 208
Buy Link: Amazon

Blurb:

The one guy she shouldn't want...
Honor Mitchell has lived with guilt and regret for a long time, so when she promises to do the things on her dying best friend's wish list, she's determined to follow through and do something right for a change. But when she's thrown together for wedding duties with the one man who complicates her vow - just by looking at him - she has to put her faith in Bryce Bishop's pledge to help her, no strings attached.
Bryce's near one-night stand with his ex-girlfriend's best friend a few months ago might have been a mistake, but helping the beautiful, free-spirited Honor with her promise isn't. His trust in women is shot, but he can't help but play his best man card to his advantage and help Honor tick off the items on his ex's list, even if it puts him in a no-win situation. Because his assistance might get Honor what she wants, but suddenly being the do-good guy puts his plans - and heart - in serious jeopardy.

This book was so romantic! Bryce was the fictional boyfriend that readers would want to have for their own!

I love the way Honor was portrayed in this story. She lit up every room and made every person she encountered feel at ease. She was great at being an antique dealer, and she was selfless. Her one flaw? She didn't believe in herself.

Enter Bryce. Bryce literally was the guy I would personally want. He wanted a serious relationship and he wasn't the kind to sleep around. Talk about perfect! He was patient and understanding, and such a gentleman!

"What movie are we watching?"
He opened the styrofoam lid on his take-out. She tucked one leg under her bottom and got busy with her own food.
"Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's one of my favorites."
He made a face, no doubt wishing he'd scored an action film instead, but lifted the remote and pressed play. She stifled a giggle. And swallowed a shiver when he gave her a sidelong glance that tracked from her face down to her legs before he took a bite of his dinner."

Another character I loved was Honor's brother, Cooper. He was protective of his sister and I really appreciated that. There was even a time when I was a bit jealous of their sibling relationship.

Finally, there was Danny. I can't wait to read his book! He seemed like a great guy and he deserved true love.

Okay, she texted. Her phone chirped two seconds later.
Okay what? Just want to be clear since several days have passed since my offer.
Okay to one night. And thanks for sending me Danny.
Happy to help. With both. Danny's not for the taking btw.
A flash of heat whipped through her at his possessive and flirtatious answer. She waited a beat before texting.
That's not what he said.
WHAT DID HE SAY?
She giggled at his use of all caps.
Something about keeping my keys and--
I'm going to kill him.
Now? I'd like to make good use of those hands of his first.
The only hands allowed to touch you are mine.

I mean, if the snippets above aren't enough to get you to read this book, then I don't know what would convince you. I'd tell you though, if you don't read this book, you'd miss out on something great.
