This is a challenge the charming Justin can not resist. She may think that he knows nothing about her needs, but he’s determined to show her that he knows plenty about her secret desires. He has no intention of publicly ruining the girl, but he’s determined to privately tempt her into some slightly sinful behavior.

Review

I was offered to review this book since I read the first book in the series. It was a slow book at first because I was in a reading slump and was really busy. However, the more I read, the better the story got, and in no time, I was hooked!

I just love women who go against the ridiculous rules of society. I loved how Clarissa kept a secret from society and followed her instincts. I also loved her encounters with Justin. They simply were a perfect match. Every scene with them was full of passion or romance ;)

One thing I didn't like about the book was the repetitive aspect about how Clarissa's judgment was no good and how obsessed she was in marrying the wrong man. That drove me nuts. It was really annoying, but when she finally came to her senses, I had more fun with the book.

I loved the adventure that Clarissa and Justin shared together ;) I love their relationship in general. The love scenes are simply breathtaking and so delicious! I would recommend this book :)

Can he convince her the risk is worth taking?

Review

This book was so hot and very well-written!!

I absolutely loved this book! It was very short but the story was developed enough for me. I loved the beginning where Jeni and Brian challenged each other and the loser pays $500.

"Every time we meet up, we are fucking within ten minutes."

The challenge was to go 24 hours without tearing each other's clothes. They didn't, however, agreed that they cannot tease each other. The sexual tension was so intense! The reader could burst along with the characters just reading this book!

Another thing I loved about this book was the location at the garden against an oak tree. The very public location increases the sexual tension and the satisfaction when they found their release. The thought of being caught definitely can do that to people.

The last memorable part was when they made love for the first time. That was just so romantic. The author very creatively put together a lot of hot sex and romance into one book. I would seriously suggest getting this book and reading it RIGHT NOW.

Check out this awesome quote:
"You can stand in the bathroom and drip-dry, or you can come out here and get your towels. It's entirely up to you, Jeni. But I'm going to munch on a bagel while you decide. I'm starving. And don't take too long; your OJ will get warm."

 About the Author:

I am a born and raised small town Ohio girl, who moved to the Sunshine State after graduating from college. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English because I could not imagine doing anything else but reading and writing. It is such a pleasure to be able to share all the stories in my head!

In the journey of life, I also became a wife and a mother of three children. So, life is always an adventure. But the love of writing has never died.

My favorites:  I love to read and write... obviously! But I also enjoy all sports, especially college football and the Ohio State Buckeyes!  Go Steelers!  Go Rays! I LOVE to travel... LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to travel. And I love sharing my love to travel with my children. I love to drink Teavana teas! I love a good glass of wine, especially if it comes from a bottle made by the FOOLS wine club… yep, I’m a member of that!  J  I love hanging out with my family and my friends!  Big fan of music, but love nothing better than putting on my jean shorts, tank top, cowboy boots and hat and watching Tim McGraw belt it out!  I’m a sucker for a cowboy hat!  J

Favorite quote:  “If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies.”

Excerpt
“I need to ask you something first.”

His brow furrowed, but he shrugged. “Okay.”

“Does Madame Eve know the location of your secret place?” Out there in the dark, with the sprinkle of stars to light the black velvet night, the reality of proceeding blindfolded into the desert with a stranger, no matter how attractive, seemed dangerous. If the answer was no, she would ask him to turn the car around and hope she wasn’t already too late.

“Yes,” he said, in a low voice. “She insisted.” When she still clutched his arm, he smiled. “I understand caution, let me show you something.” Lukas reached over her to the center console. So close, his warmth and the clean scent of soap went to her head. Hang on, Jane. Even if he is the cutest guy you’ve ever met, and smells so good. He retrieved his cell phone and clicked to a text message. “Look at this.”

I have confirmed the location of your date and we can schedule your evening. I hope you understand the safety of my clients is paramount, yours as well as Ms. Summers. Thank you for your cooperation. M.E. Reassured, Jane faced away from him. “Do it, then.” She closed her eyes and tried not to flinch as the soft cloth covered her face. It tightened and then his hands dropped to her shoulders.

“Okay?” His fingers rested on her collarbones, inches from her breasts. Her eyes strained, but the several folds prevented the least bit of starlight from entering.

“I can’t see a thing.” But she could still feel his touch moving down her arms, past her short sleeves, and onto bare skin. The desert wind soughed; her heart thumped in her ears. Hyperaware of the man behind her, she waited to see what he would do next.

Blurb:

After terrorists murder the love of her life, Major Mikayla Jones trains squadron after squadron of the clones her husband helped develop to take to the skies. When she discovers a young clone of her husband in her newest class, her world spins out of control. How can she command the look-a-like when she can’t help but yearn for him to fill the ache in her heart?

Dare was created to be the best. As the first Daniel clone to leave Onatria Labs, he needs to prove he is more than just a DNA copy. To do that, he must rely on the wife of the man who donated his genes. But when she refuses to train him, Dare faces discharge and a return to the labs. Can he convince Major Jones to finish his training—and find a way into her bed? Or will long-kept secrets unhinge the entire clone project?

Excerpt

Colonel Jones eyed each one of her new cadets, examining the neatness of their uniforms, while inspecting for signs of stress or over-anxiousness. She’d never seen the telltale muscle twitches or sweats in any previous clones, only in human-borns, but she had to look for them anyway.

The first generation of clones didn’t live long enough to become cadets. Their hearts gave out within a year after incubation. But the scientists at Onatria had plowed on, utilizing more of Daniel’s research, speeding up the aging process with hormones to create the perfect generation she saw before her.

She’d had female clones in previous squadrons, but the government filled the one in front of her with testosterone-driven masculinity. If she’d been younger, she’d have a hard time concentrating. But her days of crushes and fantasies were long over. She was devoted to serving her country and planet, and nothing else.

That didn’t stop her from going out on the town for a stress-relieving fuck from time to time. But these young men in front of her appeared so virile, sure to last longer than any of her previous sexual partners.

No. As junior officers, and more importantly, as clones, they were off limits.

Inspecting them gave her the opportunity to check out more than their fatigues and tics, but if they knew her thoughts, they’d walk all over her. She’d be done.

They were of varying nationalities, builds, and heights, all fit to serve the planet. None of the cadets revealed any indication he would put the lives of others in jeopardy. This will be an easy squadron, every one of them ready to fly in a matter of weeks.

She reached the last cadet and froze. Her stomach clenched. No, they couldn’t have!

She pivoted on her heel and rushed off the tarmac, leaving the squad without an instructor.

Review

Softcore.

I think that's what this book is. When I read BDSM stories, either it's hardcore erotic, or it's romantically erotic. This book, however, was a little softer than I expected. The dominance was there, but the submission didn't quite please me. The struggle was a little too much than the pleasure. It was also predictable. I knew who Master Sweet was even before his identity was revealed at the end.

If you like an erotic story that's not quite hardcore and romantic, then this book is for you. It has just the enough ingredients to give you an idea of the BDSM lifestyle, but it's not enough to actually inspire anything within the reader, in my opinion.

About the Author:

I am often asked; who is Aubrianna Hunter?  And the truth is the answer isn't a simple one. Beyond being a dedicated wife and mother, I was raised by a Marine, and married into the Navy.

Needless to say I can go toe to toe with the most sarcastic people you have met, and can dish insults and curse with the best of them.  I blurt wildly inappropriate things at precisely the moment when the room goes quiet, so much so that my co-author has nicknamed me Ted... Yes... After the bear in the movie.

Recently my husband has replaced calling me crazy with calling me "Creative", but the tone he uses to do it makes me question his sincerity.  Though honestly, crazy is probably closer to reality.  I like my hectic life, in fact I thrive in the chaos and would have it no other way.

Confused, in love, and still needing to put her life back on track, Valerie must decide how to use her remaining wish after she mistakenly uses two. Should she spend the last wish to help herself, or free her two insatiable lovers?

EXCERPT

Mark walked along her other side, holding the beer bottle. “Do you feel all right, love? One of us can carry you.”

The headache she’d lost earlier slowly returned. Sweetie? Love? Clear things up and carry her? On top of all that, James had given his word they wouldn’t hurt her.

Something terrible had gone wrong. She had to be dead. But if she was in heaven, why bother going to her car, or apartment? Two attractive men were escorting her and her hormones were running wild. Why not take advantage of the opportunity and have fun?

Val quickly answered her own question. Things were never what they seemed.

The evidence lay in the bottle Mark was carrying. Perhaps she’d blacked out and the two men had been walking along, drinking, and had found her.

“This is very strange,” she said, rubbing her temple to ease the growing ache.

“Does your head hurt?” James brought her to a stop. He turned her to face him then placed his hands on the sides of her face. “Let me help you.”

Val stood frozen while he gently massaged her forehead with his thumbs. Each swirling motion generated a soft wave that soothed her mind, similar to the way the sound of the ocean brought her peace. She felt relaxed within seconds, and free from worry. Hell, she felt ready to melt in his arms if he kept touching her. And he did.

When he tenderly caressed her with his fingers, electrical tingles spread through her body. Her nipples ached and moisture dampened her panties.

“Relax, Val. We’re here to help you.” James’ voice sounded soft, seductive and as smooth as honey.
Mark slid his arm around her waist and lifted her off the ground. “Don’t fight it, sweetheart. Just relax.”

James took the beer bottle from Mark. “Just tell us where to find your car and let us do the rest.”
