On leave for Thanksgiving, the last thing marine lieutenant Talia Barnett expects to find is Liam Brodie waiting for her at the airport. He's had a starring role in her fantasies for the past two years, and although she'd love to make them a reality, she has a dark secret that prevents her from taking things further.
A former marine, Liam's specialty is planning tactical operations, and that's just what he plans to do to win Talia. The woman has kept him at arm's length for too long, and this time he's finally going to claim her—body and heart.
What begins as comfort quickly turns hot. When Liam shows Talia a hint of the dominant nature inside him, the submissive part of her flares to life. Though she desires him, she's going back on deployment and doesn't want to dump all her drama on him. Will he find a way to break through the protective walls around her heart and convince her they have a future that goes far beyond the bedroom?
My Review:
Let me just say this 100 page book sure packed a punch, I really didn't think it would be as good as it was because come on... 100 pages isn't a lot. Boy was I wrong!

Callie Croix has a way with words... this book comes out in 4 days and you should definitely buy this! The story starts out with Talia coming home from the marines for what just so happens to be "Thanksgiving" reminding her that she has no family. That's when she is surprised by her best friend Angie and Angie's brother Liam coming to pick her up from the airport.

Since Talia doesn't have any family (except for her mother) the Brodie's have always been like her family... but she doesn't let them in because she is afraid she will get hurt. Talia has a rough past and struggles with letting anyone in her heart but Liam breaks that barrier by caring and loving her! Their relationship is both sweet and HOT as fire.  The cover so perfectly portrays the mood of this story, Liam in charge and on top! Oh my… just blushing thinking about him. I love Alpha Males who take charge but also have a sweet side to them.

I'm telling you they had me thinking PLEASE just have sex already lol, I'm glad they waited for the moment they did though.. you will just have to read it to get all of the juicy details and to find out what happens in the end. This book was super enjoyable... and the characters *HMM HMM* Liam in particular is so delectable! I couldn't ask for more in a book... let alone a 100 page book... relationship family, care, love, and the yummy sex scenes were a definite plus! READ IT!

Absolutely Steaming!
