But she’s finally making a life for herself and running her own business—a yoga studio. It’s her saving grace and that’s all she needs…until Greg Snow turns her world upside down.

Tessa and Greg have a strong attraction, but is it enough to overcome all their differences?

Review

So Steamy!!!

This book had sexual tension written all over it from the very first beginning. Absolutely sexy!

I love the kind of attraction that Greg and Tessa had for each other. I also love that the author was still able to show another side of the characters when Greg was interacting with his friend John.

John: "Where the hell are you?"
Greg: "In the parking lot."
John: "Did you just moan in my ear?"
Greg: "I think I did."

I greatly enjoyed that Greg and Tessa wanted to please each other equally and were given the chance to do it. Although, as sexy as it might be, seducing a man while he's driving is extremely dangerous - especially for someone extremely aroused like Greg ;)

Finally, I appreciated that Greg seemed to know just what Tessa was thinking, he genuinely cared for Tessa's well-being, and he wanted to make it work no matter what came their way. I wish this book was longer. I want to know more about their story and their sexy scenes together! I would have wanted to read about that shower scene ;)

Overall, I MOST DEFINITELY approve this book :)

Review

Very stimulating read!

I LOVE that this book started out with the characters talking (dirty) over email. Being stuck in a plane full of passengers doesn't really make for an easy task. However, Gwen and her mystery man found ways to satisfy each other. I absolutely love how vivid this story is. I also like the passion that the characters possessed individually. Although I can't imagine how big the actual bathroom is on the plane. I've only been on a plane once and I don't remember if I'd used the bathroom, but fitting two people there and still allow movement is interesting to say the least.

I wish I could have read more about their time together once they've landed. Since I didn't, I hope they'll see each other again in a sequel or something. That would definitely be a treat!

P.S. Anyone like the fact the pages of this book is "69"? ;)

It was their parents' ranch, through the good days and the bad. But if they want to hang on to their land, their pride, and their family, the three Sorentino sisters will have to reinvent it from the ground up-and one of them just may reinvent herself in the process...

Cowboys have never been good for Amy Sorentino. First her hard-riding father bankrupted the family farm. Then her all-hat-no-cattle boyfriend sold her out on national television, ending her promising career as a chef. Now she and her squabbling sisters have partnered up in a final attempt to save their land by starting an inn and local restaurant. So it figures that with everything on the line, Amy's key supplier is just the kind of Stetson-tipping heartbreaking bad boy she's sworn to avoid. But Kellan Reed has a few secrets of his own-and cowboy or not, Amy can't resist this kind of wild ride...

Review

Absolutely wonderful! It had a very realistic set of emotions!

Melissa Cutler is the kind of author with the books that I just have to devour. Save for one book, I've read each of her books within 2 days. I can't help myself; they're that good!

This book in particular was just magnificent. I knew I was going to devour it, but then I thought, maybe I should savor each moment. A few chapters in and that became impossible. I was taken in a roller coaster of lust, frustration, and determination to survive. Amy was tougher than she thought herself to be. She lived her life afraid of turning into her mother. She created rules for herself, but she kept breaking them - especially rule number one: Stay away from Cowboys. Amy was such a sweet woman and had a penchant for taking in strays ;) She was definitely a heroine after my own heart.

Kellan, on the other hand, was one honorable man, but he wasn't without flaws. I loved that the characters in this book were so well-developed, you could see their flaws just by reading their encounters with each other. It was very inspiring and got me thinking about my own situation in life. Kellan was the picture of what true love means. He was there when he was needed the most even though Amy probably hated his guts. Ms. Cutler bottled unconditional love perfectly.

Family was such a big theme in this book. I admired the bond between the Sorentino sisters and the way that Kellan was able to start repairing his relationship with his family.

Vaughn and Rachel had such an intriguing relationship, I can't wait to read Cowboy Justice!

Flaws I found in the book: editor missed some things, and I felt like some things were left "unresolved". I would list them, but it might spoil the story.

Overall, this book is a must-read despite the "flaws" I mentioned. It would be a shame to miss out on this one!

Check out this funny scene :)

Kellan: You can't look at me like that, Amy.
Amy: Like what?
Kellan: Like you're picturing me naked.
Amy: What's wrong with that? I know firsthand how good you look naked.
Kellan: What's wrong is that if you keep it up, I'm not going to have the strength to do the right thing.
Amy: What is the right thing?
Kellan: Keeping my hands off you.
Amy: How honorable... Watching you groom your horse is not helping.

Blurb:

Rose Warren and Simon Trumbull may have been betrothed since birth, but that doesn't mean they have to like each other. Rose is sure the notorious playboy Simon will never willingly settle down, and Simon, well... he agrees. Never one to be forced into anything, he'd rather drink and gamble with his mates than spend time with the bookish, bespectacled Rose.

When the two are thrown together to investigate a potential poisoning mystery, neither expects the sparks that fly. Simon discovers that Rose is, in face, a brilliant sleuth and - even better - hides a delectable body beneath her flowing skirts. Suddenly, falling into bed may be the best idea either has heard, but can Simon convince Rose his romancing is forever?

Review

I enjoyed this book, but I must admit, it took a while before I did.

It was when Rose summoned Simon to meet Dr. Orfila was when I started to get into the story. I still enjoy the ridiculous rules of society back in the day. Wearing breeches and tight clothing was out of the ordinary, and a very inappropriate scene to see in public.

My favorite part was when Rose started crying in the middle of the dance floor, and Simon had to carry her away. When they were finally in private, Lady Lancaster just had to come and interrupt. I just had to giggle throughout that entire scene. I LOVED IT!

Overall, this series so far had fulfilled my interest in historical romances. It's worth the read and Catherine Hemmerling is great!

Forced to choose between unbridled lust and compassion, Siler must forgo her fantasy... or mustn’t she?

Review

This book didn't really leave an impression on me. I usually love 1 Night Stand stories, but this one just didn't quite make the cut for me.

The whole story was weird and unbelievable. I understand there are fantasy stories, but this one was more like a dream and very unrealistic. Siler somehow ends up meeting Farraj for her one night stand, and they had a great time. Somehow, their time together reflected on the show. I did like the ending; it was like a promise that more is to come. I'm not sure if this story has a sequel, but if it does, I hope it's better than this one.

Aaron never noticed how beautiful Jasmine was until he saw her out of her firefighter duds, but there’s something about the fiery woman that tempts him. Though he knows pursuing a real relationship is out of the question for a serial dater like him, when their casual flirtation builds into something more serious, it's not just their jobs or their safety on the line. It's their hearts.

Review

I love firefighter books!

I loved this book because of the twist and turns that two very strong individuals had to go through to find their way to each other.

Jasmine "Mac" Mackinnon was a kind of woman who didn't need anybody's help. She was also a tomboy because she didn't want to be compared to her late mother. She was closed off because of her past relationship.

Aaron, on the other hand, was the womanizer firefighter that women chase after. He had a reputation, but were they all true?

I loved that Jasmine was able to make Aaron weak in the knees, and she was able to give him something he hadn't experienced before - someone worth the risk. Their story was absolutely beautiful. I loved the ending and I hope to read more from this author!

When this sinful chef and hot yoga teacher eat, play, and lust together, they just might bring their obsession to a new level.

Review

This is a delectable read!

I love chefs! They make food so sexy and makes me hungry all the time! Cami is a yoga instructor who's forced to eat gross healthy foods by her mother. Paul is the chef that has a bad habit of putting his foot in his mouth. Together, they're adorable! I love that Paul was able to give Cami the confidence she lacked, and make her believe in enjoying food again. One thing I didn't like was how often Paul kept blabbering on and on.. He reminded me of myself, and that's not something I quite like ;)

Anyway, I think this book is definitely worth a read. Yummy and steamy!

Competitors by day, lovers by night…

Allegra Wilks has had the worst month of her personal and professional life. To save her company, she must go on her would-be honeymoon and land the luxury eco-island resort’s lucrative advertising account. But when a lingerie mishap leads her into the arms of a wickedly distracting Australian, Allegra’s tempted to skip the trip and explore the most sensual kiss she’s ever experienced. Too bad their chance encounter at the airport is just that.

Having recently lost his company to his former best friend’s shady business tactics, Jett Halcott is headed to a South Pacific resort to secure an advertising account that will resurrect his reputation and career. Realizing the tantalizing Allegra Wilks is on his flight, Jett envisions a week filled with business and pleasure. But Jett doesn’t know Allegra’s fighting for the same account, or that there’s more at stake than his heart.

Excerpt

“You should do that more often,” he said, reaching out to trace her bottom lip with his fingertip. “You’re beautiful, but when you smile? Wow.”

Uncomfortable with his overt compliments, Allegra sat there and let a guy she’d just met touch her lips with a slow, sensual caress. His fingertip traced her bottom lip in a butterfly-soft sweep that left her breathless.

Their eyes locked as he lowered his hand, and what she saw made her wish she could ditch Palm Bay and travel to Australia.

Blatant lust. Strong. Sexy. Seductive. His eyes deepened to an incredible green that matched a favorite jade pendant she wore often. He wanted her, and in this crazy moment, the feeling was entirely mutual.

He raised his beer to his lips and took a long swig, his heat-filled stare never leaving hers.

Damn, she had no idea what to do in this situation. Make a joke to diffuse the tension? Acknowledge it? Flirt?

She hated feeling out of control, had instigated steps her entire life to avoid it. Yet in a loaded thirty seconds, Jett had made her damp with just one look and made her flounder.

“Is the blatant charm an Aussie thing or is it just you?”

Thankfully, he blinked, and broke the scorching stare that made her want to grab a napkin off the bar and fan herself. “It’s me.” He leaned in close. “Time you fessed up.”

Yikes. Was her reaction to him that easy to read?

“To what?”

His lips almost brushed her ear. “You’re battling an incredible urge to drag me into the nearest janitor’s closet and ravish me.”

She laughed at his outrageousness. “Sorry. I don’t do sex in cleaning closets. Too many hazardous chemicals.”

“Yeah, those pheromones can be killer.”

She loved his quick wit and for the second time in as many minutes, wished she’d met him at a different place, different time.

“Pity.” He reverted to a smoldering stare that had her wishing she’d ordered a vodka shot chaser. “Sex in confined spaces can be fun.”

“I’ll take your word for it.” Heat crept into her cheeks and she signaled the waiter for a glass of water. To douse herself with.

“Not the answer I was hoping for,” he said, shifting his barstool closer so their thighs brushed. “Would’ve been better if you’d said, ‘Sounds good, Jett, let’s go try.’”

She cleared her throat and gratefully accepted the water from the waiter, drinking it all and wishing she could run the cool beaded exterior across her forehead. “How did we get onto this crazy topic?”

“Started with you wanting to ravish me.” He clinked his beer bottle to her empty glass. “Seriously. There’s no need to hold back. I can take whatever you want to dish out.”
