Our journey began in fire...

Gideon Cross came into my life like lightning in the darkness—beautiful and brilliant, jagged and white-hot. I was drawn to him as I'd never been to anything or anyone in my life. I craved his touch like a drug, even knowing it would weaken me. I was flawed and damaged, and he opened those cracks in me so easily...

Gideon knew. He had demons of his own. And we would become the mirrors that reflected each other's most private wounds... and desires.

The bonds of his love transformed me, even as I prayed that the torment of our pasts didn't tear us apart...

Kayla: What feedback have you gotten from your newest release Bared to You?

Sylvia: It's all been wonderful, and I'm grateful for every note and deeply touched. I've received several emails from readers who are abuse survivors themselves, some of them are in relationships with another abuse survivor, and they've said that Gideon and Eva's journey mirrors their own. That means so much to me. I researched this book heavily and it's important to me that the story accurately reflects the unique and precious dynamic that exists in a relationship between two abuse survivors.

Kayla: Are you currently working on any other books?

Sylvia: I'm presently working on the last book in my Renegade Angels trilogy, A TASTE OF SEDUCTION. I'm also working on a new historical romance. And DEEPER IN YOU is in the works as well, of course.

Kayla: What is one thing that you feel people should know about you?

Sylvia: I'm a bit goofy. Spend some time with me and you'll see it. :)

Kayla: Bared to You has one hot cover, how was it picked?

Sylvia: I found the image and I loved it. I think it perfectly reflects the dynamic between Gideon and Eva. To me that's what a cover should do--convey the tone of the story inside. I sent the image to the cover artist and she turned it into the cover you see.

Kayla: How do you like interacting with your readers?

Sylvia: Anyway I can. I'm on Twitter and Facebook pretty much every day, multiple times a day, and I travel a lot. I attend several conventions a year, all around the country. I also blog on MurderSheWrites.com, maintain a newsletter, and keep my website as up-to-date as possible. I try to put myself out there and to communicate in multiple ways, so hopefully I reach readers in the manner that works best for them.

Kayla: How do you stay organized?

Sylvia: I don't. I'm horribly unorganized. I make an effort every once in a while, but nothing has stuck so far.
